What is it

Airlines in the domestic routes, during the hours of Fasting in the month of Ramadan, still have food available for all passengers. Hotels and restaurants all have left over food by the time they close for the night… There might be a lot of other areas that have food and drink that may go to waste, which could be recycled and used to feed the plight of the hungry – even beyond the victim of the Flood, there is a great deal of hunger that could be resolved from the existing amount of food that is wasted through the food distribution channels.

Perhaps another “sastaa tandoor” isn’t what is needed – perhaps it is a group of people or organizations that can manage the supply-chain and logistical challenge of having this food collected and sent to the areas or communities that will consume it.

Why is it needed

Lots of wastage – This is a ‘solution’ that is needed even after the Flood crisis is under control.

Where is the money

Recycled effort and resource
