Pakistan Culinary Institute

A culinary institute in Pakistan that teaches professional cooking courses along with degrees.

Why is it needed?

Entertainment in Pakistan is food, but as a person who loves cooking and good food, I have realized that Pakistani cuisine is quite static in development and creativity. In order to introduce people to new foods and tastes, we need the skill to make those kind of cuisines. All over the world there are Culinary Institutes that train people in this art. Why shouldn’t Pakistan?

How can it generate money?

The hotel and restaurant industry in Pakistan is booming, with the peoples only entertainment a meal with family and friends. Professional chefs can earn a lot of money in this industry where I feel there is a dire need for some innovation and difference. An institute like that could make a lot of money in this industry.

    yah, i totally agree with Abeer we have a lot of opportunities in this field people who love to cook and want to find perfection in their food, want others to have good food as well we have a proper insitute that would help to bring professional chefs representing Pakistan both nationally and internationally.

    hay guyz i need to know is thr any institution in karachi from whr i can admit , actually i have’nt done any cooking course yet or hv’nt ne professional degree ? i m an engineer, ma last semister of engr but m not willing to do smthing related to this field. plz do let me know from whr i mshud start my carrier as a cook .

    Please contact on the below email if Intrested in the Culinery Art Institute in Karachi.
    It will be opened in Sept after Eid In Clifton. initialy we will offer only day courses & then monthly & Diploma’s with effiliations abroad.

    I would like to know how big is the market im looking at here in Karachi. How many classes of ten will i be able to have in a day?
    What wousine would you be most intrested in? French, Italian, Pakistani or Fusion?

    The feedback will only give me a better Idea to understand the need of my target audience. Please also request you loved ones to respond.

    anyone intereseted to develop a culinary institute of any scale in either Karachi or Lahore can contact me jazi.a.khan(at)gmail.com. I have extensive contacts in food industry starting from foriegn qualified chefs to best managers present in pakistan.
    I am not looking for any money in this but my loov for food and cooking pushes me to do something in this regards but due to lack of finances, i can not do it myself. Mind it when you say an institute it is not tution centre kind of setup. also there are few ‘MONEY MAKING’ places in lahore and karachi which claim to have culinary education setup but they lack recognition and knowledge to make / polish chef!
