As floods play havoc in all the four provinces of Pakistan killing hundreds and affecting millions – different communities work to bring relief to those who have lost their lifetime earnings. The IT community of Pakistan has also started relief drives for the affected. Below are the details of some of the relief drives:

CIO Pakistan Relief Drive

The CIO Pakistan team has raised some money by donating a portion of their salaries, which they plan to send to HR Activist Tahira Abdullah. P@SHA Flood Relief Drive

The Pakistan Software Houses Association has also started a relief drive for the flood affected. Details of it can be grabbed here

Apart from these relief drives, Pakistan Changemakers Hub is regularly posting updates related to Flood Relief. They along with some other tech-enthusiasts have also set up a Wiki with information relevant to floods in Pakistan. The Wiki is accessible at: http://pakistan.wikia.com/wiki/Floods_2010
