History reveals that during the Khilafat era everyone used to give the charity, the state was never short of money and it was hard to find people in need of financial help.
Today the scenario is quite the opposite and the reasons could be:
- Either People are no more interested in charity
- Or the charity does not reach the needy
- Or both
There are many people around us who may need our help but unfortunately we don’t know that they exist and they don’t know where to find us.

A website can be developed to track the ones in need. It can have different categories providing information about all bodies in need of charity.The categories may include:

1) Individuals: Students/Patients/Families.
2) Organizations: Schools/Hospitals/Darul Amans/Old Homes/Orphanages etc
3) Others

Through this website contacts of the needy can be shared through posts. Any one can post about any category they know about.

A database can be maintained to store the contacts so that people interested in charity are able to search where to donate there money, category or area wise.

It can also help charitable orgnisations to promote themselves.

Why is it needed

The main purpose is equal distribution of money and to develop a sense of responsibility among people. To let them understand that someone is waiting for their help. There would be no money collection involved. The idea is not to transfer some money in a charitable account but to find people in need , go for their help and let others know about it.

Where is the money

Non-profit.

Patients (and their attendants) should be able to submit rating and (optionally) detailed feedback about a practitioner. This feedback should be publicly visible.

The trickiest thing will be to acquire and enter doctors’ data. If a pharmaceutical company can sponsor such a project, they would already have doctors’ data in great detail, most likely in a digital format.

For doctors: This will increase their visibility to an unprecedented extent. Keep in mind the exponentially increasing number of Pakistani Internet users.

For patients: This will be a treasure of information (especially the rating part) The only way to find a good doctor today is by word of mouth.

For sponsors: This can offer targeted marketing. Private hospitals or clinics, Pharmacies, can be easily convinced to place their advertisements on this website. Sponsorship will be important to make the project bear its own operational cost.
